Nike debuted their React foam midsole technology last year on two of their standard basketball models. Now, the first running shoe to use the technology is slowly taking over the sneaker scene with exciting colorways like this new “Sprite” pair.
Nike React is the brand’s new standard in comfort. The foam technology launched worldwide in the form of the Epic React Flyknit, a sleek running shoe built for speed and flexibility. Originally, the silhouette released in limited numbers before more colorways were added to the lineup. While plenty of options are already available, Nike continues to pump out new and exciting colorways for those still looking to snag a pair or even re-up already. The latest iteration takes on the classic “Sprite” look, pairing green and blue together in a smooth new look. The Flyknit upper of this Epic React comes in a flat grey tone, which extends onto the stiff lace eyelets as well as the laces themselves. The Swoosh on either side stands out in white, as the last neutral piece before color takes over. The rounded heel cap that adds support to the back of the shoe comes in lime green, while the clip circling the heel underneath is in a deep blue tone. The React midsole comes in white underneath, with more lime green sections covering the heel and toe to protect the soft foam sole from the elements.
