Nike React has proven itself to be a formidable new technology. So far this year we’ve seen the soft foam take over a handful of Swoosh silhouettes, and now Nike is ready to unleash another. Check out the Epic React Rise Flyknit, coming soon.

Nike’s Epic React Flyknit has grown to be a popular option among the many new running silhouettes the Swoosh has released this year. While many had complaints regarding the original run of the silhouette and its traction issues, Nike has amended the problems and has gone on to create a wide arsenal of beautiful colorways. However, this Fall, the Swoosh is taking the Epic React one step further with the introduction of the laceless new Rise iteration. Recently announced via the brand’s news stream, the Epic React Rise extends the sock-like upper to a mid height, and strengthens the Flyknit material in certain areas due to the absence of laces. Additionally, the heel cup that covers the back end of the shoe now sits on top of a thin leather layer which extends up the ankle of the shoe to form a pull tab. The React Rise silhouette will make its debut later this Fall, first in a bright canary yellow color. Much of the Flyknit body is covered in the eye-catching color, though shades of brown have been mixed in to tone down the color a bit.

The Nike React Rise Flyknit is scheduled to drop on September 1st, 2018. Despite the announcement of the new silhouette, an official retail price has not been disclosed yet, though they are assumed to be slightly pricier than their laced counterparts. The mid-cut React sneaker will release from both Nike and select retailers. Check out the early product shot below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more Nike React news.
