Nike’s Dunk silhouette has flooded the market over the last few years, finally making the beloved silhouette widely available in nearly every color combination you could dream of. This week, a new “Brownscale” pair has surfaced, coming this Fall.
The Nike Dunk is one of their most beloved silhouettes by sneakerheads. Originally a basketball shoe from 1985, the silhouette stands among giants like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Max 1 as one of the greatest sneakers ever. In recent years, Nike finally caved and made the shoe widely accessible, with hundreds of colors releasing since its anniversary celebration in 2020.
This week, a smooth new color scheme for the Dunk Low surfaced online, jumping on the trend of neutral brown shoes we’ve been riding for a few years now. This style takes all of Nike’s favorite signature shades of brown and combines them on one silhouette for an unusual take on an all-brown shoe. The leather base comes in a medium brown shade with darker Cacao Wow shades wrapped around the heels, and a light Sesame tone for the forefoot paneling. White Swooshes and midsoles balance out the look, while pale green tongue tags complete the new design.
