The Nike Dunk High will be taking some time out of its busy schedule to celebrate last year’s NBA Finals winner, the Los Angeles Lakers.
Since LeBron joined the Lakers, the unfortunate passing of Kobe Bryant, and their NBA Championship title, the Lakers colorway has been a popular one in the sneaker industry. Gracing Kobe Protro’s, Air Max silhouettes, and now the Dunk High, the purple and gold have never looked better and this Dunk proves just that.
The sneaker features a black mesh design that covers the sides, toes, ankles, and tongue while purple leather overlays are added throughout while gold yellow Nike Swooshes grace the sides. Purple and Gold tongue tags are added to the tongues while a Nike spell-out in Lakers font is embroidered into the heels. A white rubber midsole and black outsole complete the design.
