Nike’s remastered run of the Air Huarache is in full swing this month, celebrating the legendary runner with classic and new colorway. This week, we have an early look at mixup of two original looks. Check out the “Bright Mango” Air Huarache, coming soon.

The Air Huarache was first developed by Nike designer Tinker Hatfield in 1991, built to provide marathon runners with all the comfort and cushioning they could need over long distances. Inspired by wetsuits that cling to the wearer’s body, remarkably lightweight running shoes quickly became a hit for the Swoosh, propelling the Air Huarache into footwear legend. Now, Nike is celebrating thirty years of the sleek silhouette, offering both new and classic color schemes in the Huarache’s freshly remastered form. This week, a new addition to the Spring & Summer lineup emerged online, showcasing the Air Huarache in a brand new “Bright Mango” color scheme. This look begins with a plain white forefoot, before quickly switching to bright purple and orange tones for the shoe’s neoprene portions, as well as a black TPU heel cage.
