Nike’s classic Daybreak runner has remained in the brand’s arsenal since its reintroduction last year, thanks to an enthusiastic response to high-profile collaborations featuring the silhouette. Now, the classic version is back in a smooth new “Eggplant” colorway for Summer.

Nike’s vintage running archives have been a flood of inspiration and retro release in recent years for the brand, and we are all in on it. The latest silhouette to be reintegrated into the Swoosh arsenal, the Daybreak SP, has been the shoe of choice for Nike fans wanting a sleek, lightweight, and classic look the past few years, and Nike is happy to supply us with regular new releases. This week, the classic runner surfaced in a cool new color scheme, taking on the brand’s favorite “Eggplant” purple color, applied to the silhouette’s nylon base layer. Suede overlays in a softer shade of purple add support, while a Hydrogen Blue Swoosh completes the look.
