Nike’s Daybreak has received a lot of attention following the success of the Undercover and Sacai collaborations. Now, the Swoosh is back to basics with the classic runner, which drops in “Olive Snakeskin” next month.

The Nike Daybreak is all the rage right now, whether you’re aware of it or not. Of course, every sneakerhead worth their salt is aware of the projects between Nike with Sacai and Undercover, though they may not have fully recognized the Daybreak silhouette at the base of each project. Now, that legendary runner is returning in its original form. Built first in 1979, the Nike Daybreak features a thick EVA midsole with a cup-shaped footbed to lock you into your run. The upper was constructed from a mix of nylon and suede for a lightweight yet supportive feel. This design is largely the same as the new versions releasing soon, which covers the silhouette in a deep olive tone, and adds snakeskin overlays for a premium feel.
