Nike’s Element React line has expanded ferociously this year, adding dozens of new styles and colorways to the mix. This week, the React Element 55 takes inspiration from ACG in an eye-catching new colorway.

Nike’s recent Element franchise has had a fantastic year since its debut early in 2018. The family of footwear is easily one of the most popular to feature React cushioning, which should come as no surprise given the lifestyle aspect of these models. Led by the Element 87, the first shoe in the franchise, Nike issued the takedown version just a few months later, titled the Element 55. This week, the slimmed down version of the shoe takes on a new colorway, directly inspired by Nike’s All Conditions Gear label. This Element 55 begins with a black base layer for the upper, reinforced by the usual overlays along the lacing system and heel, this time in teal, brown, and purple, classic tones from vintage ACG shoes. This pair also features a hangtag of the walking man from retro ACG promos.
