This week we have an early look at Nike’s new Crater Impact sneaker, the latest new silhouette designed specifically to include a number of the brand’s recycled materials, as a part of the Move to Zero campaign, coming soon.

Nike’s Move to Zero campaign is dramatically altering the way the brand designs, manufacturers, and releases its shoes. Launched publicly in 2020, the project’s end goal is to bring Nike’s carbon footprint as close to zero as possible, through the use of recycled materials and scraps to create new products. So far, we have seen the recycled materials take over whole product lines as well as inspiring new ones like the Space Hippie franchise, and reinventing Nike essentials like the brand’s new recycled yoga mat. This week, we have an early look at the latest footwear to join the Move to Zero initiative, the Crater Impact. The Impact begins with a single-piece mesh upper reinforced through targeted stitching and overlays, while recycled materials throughout make the silhouette more environmentally friendly.
