Nike’s tennis roots have inspired dozens of famous sneakers over the years, but none more prominent than the Court Legacy. An amalgamation of the brands’ beloved tennis shoes, the “Deep Freeze” edition is coming soon.

Nike’s history on the tennis court is extensive, having supported some of the greatest players on Earth with their footwear. To celebrate this extensive past, the Swoosh crafted the Court Legacy, a simple sneaker with all of the technology that tennis players love, packed into a modern-day lifestyle shoe. Beginning at the bottom, the Court Legacy is built on a plain EVA cupsole, with multidirectional traction and canvas trim for vintage style. The upper of this pair appears to be constructed from a simple nylon, stitched with a round quilted pattern for this special release. The “Deep Freeze” look pits the Court Legacy Mid in a pale blue upper with navy accents, and a cream white Swoosh to complete the look.

Nike’s new “Deep Freeze” iteration of the Court Legacy Mid tennis shoe has already released overseas in Asia, so we expect them to arrive stateside sometime in the coming weeks. The pale blue quilted color scheme will likely launch from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag somewhere in the $85+ range.
