The N7 line was conceptualized back in 2009 and has since seen many iterations of classic Nike models. Inspired by Aboriginal and Native American tradition, the line embodies Nike’s mission to promote physical activity and sports.
Promoting heritage and involvement in sports, the Nike N7 line presents classic silhouettes with colorful and symbolic designs. Ranging from lifestyle shoes to more performance-based models, each design is meaningful with a history behind every sneaker. The N7 fund sets out to create an equal playing field for all and simultaneously bring communities together through footwear.
In addition to an array of models dropping this summer, Nike set out to treat the women in this exclusive Cortez iteration. Composed of an overall White colorway, the model is accentuated by hints of Aqua throughout its lining, tongue tag, and part of its sole. The most notable characteristic is the symbol-filled swoosh and back tab meaningful to N7 collaborator and ambassador, Taboo. A simple color scheme with vibrant hints of design ready for those summer days.
