Nike’s Cortez running shoe its long past its prime as the peak of performance footwear, but has remained as one of the brand’s iconic lifestyle models. Next season, its taking on the fan-favorite ‘Georgetown’ color scheme.

The Nike Cortez has been surprisingly quiet this year, despite celebrating a whopping fifty year anniversary in 2022. Aside from the collaboration with Los Angeles’ Union, the retro running shoe did not receive the usual celebratory releases from the Swoosh. However, this week we got an early look at a new color scheme for the classic model, which takes on the brand’s iconic ‘Georgetown’ palette for its latest look. This pair features a solid grey suede upper, adding dark navy blue Swooshes and heel counters. The tongues and laces come in an off-white cream shade, pairing with the cream and navy blue midsole to complete the look.
