The Nike Blazer Mid has found a recent surge of energy and Nike looks to ride the wave as they have been releasing new editions left and right. Things look to get exotic on the silhouette as a “Snakeskin” edition is arriving soon.
Thanks to Virgil’s Off-White Blazers last year, the silhouette has seen a lot of love from the community as of late. The hyped collaboration showcased the classic model in prime-time fashion and sneakerheads found a renewed love for the ’70s aesthetic.
Nike has been pairing it with colorways every now and then and now “Snakeskin” looks to be the next aesthetic to adorn the sneaker. The upper is paired with white leather and grey suede accents on the midfoot as well as the toe to add just the right amount of contrast. Grey Snakeskin overlays then are featured on the midfoot Nike Swoosh as well as the heel that houses Nike branding. A white midsole and outsole bring the reptile makeover to a nice stop.
