As part of Nike’s Chinese New Year celebration, the Blazer Mid Rebel will be releasing in a unique women’s edition dubbed, “Spring Festival”.
Although Chinese New year is a big celebration as it is with the light of a new year and all the adventures that will come with it, as a sneakerhead we’ve become accustomed to waiting for annual sneaker renditions celebrating the festival. As brands start to roll out their 2021 lineup, this Blazer Mid will stand out among the rest.
Featuring a one of a kind design, Nike took the Blazer Mid and reimagined the silhouette completely. Featuring a shimmering Nylon upper, suede and velour overlays easily make the design as they are added to different portions of the shoe in angelic and deconstructed form. More detailing flows throughout like foam tongues, asymmetrical lacing, an inner zipper, and backward Nike branding on the heel.
