Nike’s ‘Athletic Club’ collection is amassing more sneakers in its ranks, as we have our first look at the Blazer’s contribution this week. Expected to launch in the next few months, check out the new white and blue color scheme, coming soon.

Nike’s Blazer Mid ’77 took the footwear world by storm in the last two years, with the Swoosh producing an abundance of pairs and colorways to feed the growing frenzy, and still going strong. The Blazer’s rapid growth in popularity can largely be attributed to its timeless style, and Nike’s revamped version for the modern day that evokes a vintage look while still offering plenty of color options and durability. Now, the Swoosh continues to mix things up by including the Blazer Mid in it’s small capsule collections, grouping several sneakers together under a common theme for a small-scale special-edition release. The latest of these projects is the “Athletic Club” pack, which applies a plain white and French Blue color scheme to classic Nike sneakers while adding some fun “Nike Athletic Club” branding to the tongue labels and in patches on each heel.
