Though the Nike Air Max 1 never really leaves the sneaker spotlight, it is certainly enjoying an extended period of rapturous attention. Now, Nike is planning to feed the masses with a new “Neptune Green” take on the Air Max 1 Premium.
Nike’s Air Max 1 is making the rounds this year. After an incredibly successful anniversary celebration last year, the retro runner is back and better than ever in 2018. So far, we have seen new colorways across several forms of the Air Max 1 silhouette, including the Anniversary and Premium versions. Recently, Nike has unleashed a slew of Premium AM1’s including this new “Neptune Green” colorway.
The latest Air Max 1 to hit retailers is a brilliant colorful option to finish out the Summer. The mesh base starts off the shoe in a flat white color, layered with a vibrant green tone on top. The main green tone is repeated over the various leather layers surrounding the midfoot, as well as taking over the tongue’s Nike Air branding as well as the exposed air bubble underfoot. The standout Swoosh on either side comes in a brighter, lime green like shade to differentiate it from its background, while a layer of black leather loops around the shoe, contrasting the bright appearance.

Nike’s legendary Air Max 1 Premium is available in a new colorway overseas from Afew. The fresh new “Neptune” green colorway retails for the standard $140, and will soon be available from Nike US as well as other stateside retailers.
