The Nike Air Max 98 has arrived loudly in 2018. With famous original colorways and bright new looks arriving all year round, it gets hard to keep track of them all. Luckily, Nike has unveiled the new “Gym Red” AM98 which is set to release soon.
Nike’s Air Max 98 is back on top of the world. The 90’s silhouette originally took hold over the sneaker world due to its aerodynamic look and heavy layering. Now, the Swoosh is bringing a slew of new colorways to the classic model for its twentieth anniversary. The new “Gym Red” colorway paints the entire upper of the 98 in a blood red tone. Each layer of the shoe stands out with a slightly different hue of the base red, also utilizing different materials to add visual texture. The base of this pair appears to still be made from mesh, while several overlays have a leathery, almost snakeskin like quality to them. The latest red Air Max 98 is finished by a plain white midsole and red Nike Air unit.
