Nike is building off of the renewed excitement over the Air Max 97, continuing to release new colorways into 2018. The Premium iteration has recently been receiving some of the best looks, like this “Smokey Mauve” colorway, coming soon.
Nike’s Air Max 97 is back in full force in 2018. After a well-documented twentieth-anniversary celebration last year, the silhouette has secured its place in Nike’s regular Air Max release lineup. Now, the Swoosh is pumping out hot new colorways to feed the demand of their fans. The latest premium colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 to hit retailers is quite a look. The top layers of the shoe begin with black for the tongue and surrounding waves, before transitioning to a deep blue suede material. Next, the color makes another quick switch to this 97’s namesake “Smokey Mauve” color, which comes off as a very light, dusty purple that comes in suede as well. Finally, the new colorway is complete by a white midsole with translucent Airbag, as well as blue Nike branding on each tongue.

The new “Smokey Mauve” Nike Air Max 97 Premium is available early from foreign retailers like Urban Industry, with a wider release planned later this Summer. The luxurious new colorway retails for the usual $160 and will be available from a wide variety of retailers.
