Nike’s Air Zoom Spiridon is making a return this year. After its last retro run in the late 2010s, the ’90s runner is set to release in its OG “Sport Red” colorway for the Holiday 2024 season.
Nike’s 1997 Air Zoom Spiridon is making a comeback this year. The silhouette originally released as a performance running model, before returning as a lifestyle sneaker in its subsequent retro releases. The last run of these came in 2016, delivering some new and classic colorways before returning to the brand’s vault in 2018. Late last year, the Spiridon surfaced as the canvas for the next Fragment x Nike release, teasing its 2024 re-release. Now, we have word that the original “Sport Red” pair will see a release this year, likely during the holiday season. This look features a metallic silver upper with black accents, and bright red Nike branding.
