The return of Nike’s Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 was certainly an unexpected surprise when we got our first look at the early-2000s silhouette earlier this year. Initially relaunched in a special collaboration with Stüssy featuring three colorways, Nike is pulling up with plenty of new colorways for the sleek retro runner for the rest of the year. This week, we have an early look at a simple new iteration set to drop soon and is already available overseas in Japan. Titled “Newsprint”, this particular look does not give any indication of being a special-edition, so we assume this subtitle comes from the color scheme, which pits the Spiridon Caged 2 in an all-black upper and plain white midsole.

Nike’s latest colorway of the Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 has not yet been released in the United States, though the new look is currently available from the brand’s Japanese website. The smooth new black and white colorway will likely release stateside in the coming weeks, retaining the retail price of $140.
