Nike Air Works Masyn Air Max Mule Design
Masyn built the shoe around the people in his life, not the billboard stars of his hometown. Small stars travel across the upper and continue onto the outsole as a constellation. A large star is embossed into the outsole, so each step leaves a star shaped print behind. Masyn showed the design at a friends and family celebration at NOVA studios in West Hollywood.
What Is Nike Air Works?
Air Works is Nike Sportswear’s inaugural design program. It invites a global cohort of designers to Beaverton to draw on 40 years of Air innovation and create new Air Max shapes with 3D printing.
