Nike will be revisiting the early 2000s “Shima Shima” pack with the return of the Air Trainer 1 silhouette this Fall 2022 season.
Originally dropped back in 2003, Nike will be revisiting the Japanese-inspired collection which included three Dunk Highs and Two Air Max 1 renditions alongside this Air Trainer 1 Mid. This offering features a trendy Hay, Baroque Brown, Taupe, and Varsity Red colorway which features a three-tone durable suede upper that arrives in two shades of tan and dark brown detailing. Matching accents are then added throughout the forefoot strap, lacing system, and sockliner while “Shima Shima” branding is included on the tongues in red Japanese embroidery. A speckled midsole and brown/tan outsole are added underneath to finish the design.
