nike air trainer 1 coconut milkNike’s Air Trainer 1 continues to surface in new colorways in celebration of the shoe’s thirty-fifth anniversary. This week, the mid-cut silhouette surfaced in a new ‘Coconut Milk’ colorway, coming soon.

Nike’s famous cross-trainer returned in 2022, celebrating its thirty-fifth anniversary. The Air Trainer 1 was purpose built to transcend the boundaries of athletic footwear at the time, which were often designed with one purpose, or sport, in mind. Created by Tinker Hatfield, the AT1 was meant to perform both in the gym and across court sports, providing plenty of cushioning thanks to its incapsulated Air unit, as well as keeping athletes locked in with its mid-cut collar. Nike has issued a number of new colorways in the past year, and will continue to add new options in 2023. This week, a ‘Coconut Milk’ pair surfaced, featuring a white base layer with shades of off-white and pale gold across its leather overlays, with a jet black Swoosh to complete the look.
