Nike classics have been making a comeback recently. One of the sleeper hits of the year is 1990’s Nike Air Span II, a low-top runner with a cult following. Release in several OG colorways so far, the Air Span 2 is available now in “Neptune Green”.

The Air Span II is a simple shoe. As the follow up to 1988’s original model, the Span II was remarkably similar to the first, with a few minor performance upgrades. However, these few changes were enough to guide the sleek silhouette into gathering a strong and dogged following by runners and sneakerheads around the world. Beginning with a mesh base layer, the new “Neptune Green” colorway colors these sections in plain white, matched by the central supportive layers around the midfoot. The smooth leather mudguard and heel support pieces are dyed in the namesake Neptune Green color, a bright, emerald-like tone. The Nike branding around the shoe finishes off the look in a muted Persian Violet hue.
