Retro style is back and better than ever as the top fashion trends right now pull from vintage styled looks. Nike Sportswear has decided to drop the nostalgic Air Max2 Light in a windbreaker inspired theme.
It’s a proven fact that everyone loves retro windbreakers, well maybe not a fact but many people do. In the hype of it all Nike Sportswear was the top producer in the ’80s and ’90s and set many trends when it came to colors and designs. Now in 2019, those styles have recycled themselves and windbreakers are at the top of the trending list.
Retro runners have also had a major resurgence as of late and that is exactly why the Nike Air Max2 Light has been releasing in multiple colorways this year. It only makes sense to combine both in one and it appears that’s exactly what we’re getting.
For this Air Max2 Light, it calls upon a color scheme of white, royal and maize. The midfoot is painted in royal blue as the toe is in bright maize yellow and white overlays wrap around the silhouette to create the edgy and chunky look. A Nike Sportswear tag can be found on the tongue while a White Nike Swoosh is outlined in black and makes up the midfoot branding. A white midsole and duel colored Air Max unit completes the look.
