The resurgence of the Nike Air Max2 Light this year caught many off guard but it makes sense that the model would fit into today’s style. Check out the Nike Air Max2 Light in “Purple/Crimson” said to be releasing soon.
We can’t say history repeats itself in every aspect of life but it for sure does in the fashion and shoe industry. This year we have seen an influx of retro runners get taken out of the vault that fit into today’s most fashionable looks. The Air Max2 Light originally released in 1994, has lead the pack when it comes to retro and bulky silhouettes. We have seen Nike roll out a couple of colorways like the “Habanero Red” that just dropped today and quickly sold out and now we get a look at a brand new colorway that is guaranteed to be a hit as well.
The upper of this edition features a white leather and mesh upper that contains purple mesh and suede underlays that boast the rough and edgy construction on the model. Crimson accents then highlight the shoe on the tongue, outsole and Air Max bubble. Air Max branding can be found on the tongue as well as the classic Nike Swoosh on the midfoot in black and the Nike Air logo on the heels. Finishing off the design, a white midsole is placed precisely on the bottoms.
