Nike’s new hybrid silhouette of two iconic technologies, the Air Max Waffle, is finally here. This week, they’ve announced the release of another color scheme early next month, dressing the shoe in a “Voltage Purple” palette.
This season marks the debut of Nike’s new Air Max Waffle sneaker. The shoe was first teased in Spring during their SNKRS Showcase livestream event that showed off a wide range of upcoming new models, special releases, and collaborations. The Air Max Waffle blends two of the original Nike performance innovations, the Air cushioning and the patented Waffle traction system.
Nike has already released their debut style of the AM Waffle, a bright “Action Green” style. The follow up all-black pair lands next week, and now, a “Voltage Purple” look arrives the week after next. This pair features a vibrant purple shade for its nylon base, framing it in black suede for the toes, heels, and eyestays. Light purple Air bags rest inside a white rubber housing, with Total Orange Swooshes to complete the look.

Nike’s next colorway of their new mashup silhouette, the Air Max Waffle, has been scheduled to release soon, on December 3rd, 2024. The vibrant “Voltage Purple” style with Total Orange accents will be available from both the SNKRS app and select retailers for $140.
