Due to the current state, Nike’s annual Air Max Day in 2021 will not be like years past but the special holiday will still be celebrated world-wide thanks to a brand new virtual experience.

Starting in 2014, Air Max Day only gets bigger and bigger as time goes on. While this year’s celebrations will be limited due to the pandemic, Nike has still put together a huge celebration, putting together a virtual experience that will honor their Air Max series that has been around for 34 years now.

Thanks to Air Max Worldwide, a virtual space created by Nike, there will be an event accessible to everyone which is the first as normally Air Max events would only be accessible via big cities. Set to run from 3 AM EST on March 26th to Midnight on March 27th, there will be different broadcasting locations from Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Shanghai, and other cities. The day will consist of creative workshops, panel discussions, collection tours, and even musical experiences.

Sneaker drops are rumored to go down during the live event but we expect more concrete details to surface in the coming days on the lineup and accessibility of the pairs. To access the event, make sure to create a Nike account here if you don’t have one already, members will be sent a link to the event an hour before launch. Make sure to keep it locked to JustFreshKicks for updates and more of the latest Nike news.
