Nike’s Air Max BW last saw a retro release in 2016, rehashing the classic Air silhouette in original colorways. Now, Nike is bring the BW back into the fold, this time celebrating the shoe’s 30th anniversary with a new “City Pack”.

The Nike Air Max BW is poised for a retro run this year, as evidenced by Nike’s rehashing of the original purple color scheme multiple times in recent months. Now, the Swoosh has begun to roll out its new “City Pack” of colorways for the Air Max BW, kicking things off last week with a special orange color scheme for Los Angeles. While we are still on the lookout for the Lyon and Rotterdam styles, this week we have a fresh look at a new “Beijing”-themed pair that will be joining the mix in the coming weeks. Featuring the same black and white color blocking with gold lace jewels, this style adds a dark brown shade to the heels and collar of the shoe, representing the Chinese capital city.
