Don’t sweat it if you missed an Air Max 98 drop last year, Nike has you covered. The Swoosh has a handful of new colorways on the horizon to continue the anniversary celebration, like the new “Vast Grey” look scheduled to drop soon.
Nike’s legendary Air Max 98 is still kicking in 2019. After a somewhat lackluster anniversary celebration by the Swoosh in 2018, the 21-year-old Air Max model will still continue to see retail shelves in the new year. While two bold colorways have already dropped alongside the “Lunar New Year” collection, another fresh color scheme for the AM98 has recently surfaced online. Titled “Vast Grey”, the new look pits the multi-faceted upper in a variety of grey shades across the varying materials. For starters, the upper half begins with a very pale tone, almost to the point of being called white. The colors slowly darken as you climb downward toward the sole, where you’ll find minty green Swoosh branding as well as a matching Air midsole.

Nike’s brand new colorway of their Air Max 98 has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to hit shelves soon. The simple “Vast Grey” color scheme will retail for the usual $160 from both Nike and select retailers.
