Nike will be adding a new take to the Air Max 97, this time with a luxe-makeover dubbed, “White Ice”.
It’s safe to say black ice is no one’s friend but white ice? Now that’s something sneakerheads can bargain with. The Air Max 97 will be releasing with a refreshing new makeover that calls for an all-white mesh upper and features white tumbled leather overlays equipping the wave like patter the 97 is known for. A flame emoji is embroidered in on the side paneling where Nike branding normally is featured as a representation of just how hot this new iteration is. Tonal Nike branding finds itself in the toes as well as the tongue is usual style. Likely the highlight of the shoe, the midsole arrives in an icy blue translucent finish, hence the name. A full-length Air Max unit adds much needed cushioning with every step while 3M reflective detailing on overlays add just a nice little flare to the fresh new look.
