The 4th of July came a bit early. Nike has given a new patriotic look to the Air Max 97 that appears in USA red, white and blue.
Last week, an Air Jordan 1 Mid surfaced with the same exact theme and now the coveted Air Max 97 will join in on the fun. While we are used to sneakers appearing in patriotic themes in July for Independence Day, it looks like Nike has gotten an early start and that may be in preparation of the 2020 Olympics.
The new look arrives with a white mesh upper that comes equipped with red and navy blue leather overlays across the top of the shoe and the mudguard. Navy then makes up the majority of the tongue while white laces tie the shoe down. Red accents then arrive on Nike branding while the three colors finish off the look on the rubber outsole.
