The Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape is the latest silhouette to join on the recycled content family. Packing at least 20% recycled materials by weight, the AM97 Terra is set to debut in three colorways this season.

Nike’s recent Terrascape offerings have transformed some of their classic models into more sustainable versions, crafting each shoe out of a minimum of 20% recycled content by weight. Pulling scraps directly from their factory floors and grinding them down, Nike is certainly getting after the goal they set with the Move to Zero campaign. This week, a new fan-favorite sneaker has emerged in its first version; the Air Max 97 Terrascape. Colloquially referred to as one of Nike’s most fluid looking styles, the 97’s wavy upper receives the recycled treatment, replacing the typical synthetic materials nearly entirely with natural fibers. The midsole also sports a Crater foam construction, while an enlarged Swoosh makes its way onto the outer heels.
