Releasing as apart of the “City Special” collection, the Nike Air Max 97 will be featured in a Los Angeles themed colorway that celebrates the warm weather and the beutiful west coast sunset.
Just like the NYC Taxi rendition, it looks like Nike’s Air Max capsule will be going on a city tour that honors different cities throughout the US. While the AM97 isn’t as distinctive of a Los Angeles theme as the NYC Taxi rendition, when attaching the color to a city, LA is the only one that stands out with the warm radiating colorway.
Featuring an eye-catching tonal orange rendition, the sneaker boasts a mesh, leather, and suede design which all arrives in a distinctive shade of orange that is reminiscent of the brightly colored orange sunset the city is blessed with on a normal basis. Black detailing and branding is included throughout for just a tad bit of contrast while “LA’ tags and insoles solidify the city attachment.

The Nike Air Max 97 “Los Angeles” is scheduled as a GS exclusive just like the AM95 and will be releasing via select retailers and Nike.com in the coming weeks for $155.
