Nike’s Air Max 97 celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary last year, releasing a wave of new colorways for the occasion. The releases continue this season with a new ‘Khaki’ look, coming soon.
Nike’s Air Max releases have been non-stop over the past year, celebrating several big anniversaries for both the AM1 and AM97 silhouettes. While the original Air Max model has seen most of the recognition from the brand on this front, the 97’s celebration has been somewhat downplayed, though we did see some classics like the ‘Silver Bullet’ return at the end of the year. However, new releases of the Air Max 97 will continue in 2023, including the ‘Khaki’ grey look seen here. Featuring a Khaki mesh base layer, this pair adds overlays in a matching khaki leather shade, with white and silver striping accenting the other neutral tones. Bright red Swooshes and yellow accents add some color to the mix, while a green inner lining completes the new look.

Nike’s upcoming new ‘Khaki’ look for the Air Max 97 has not been announced for release, though they are expected to launch sometime in the coming weeks. Featuring a warm grey color throughout the upper with bright accents, pairs will likely be available via the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers for $185.
