Nike’s Air Max 97 is out in full force for its twenty-fifth anniversary this year. While the brand has been quiet about it, we’ve seen a tidal wave of new colors, like this “Chlorine Blue” look, releasing this Summer.
Nike’s Air Max family is taking over the spotlight this year, with multiple models celebrating anniversary celebrations. Namely, the Air Max 1 turns thirty-five this year, while the Air Max 97 is celebrating twenty-five years on shelves. Honoring their classic designs, Nike has released a number of new styles of the AM97 in just the past few months, with plenty more popping up and expected to release later this year. This week, we got an early look at a new “Chlorine Blue” version, which casts the silhouette’s wavy upper in silver and grey, with navy blue accents spanning the perimeter of the upper. The shoe’s midsole and Swooshes feature an electric shade of blue to complete the look.

Nike’s launch of the “Chlorine Blue” Air Max 97 has not been given an exact date, though they are expected to drop in August 2022. The simple color scheme will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag of $185 for 2022.
