Nike is bringing their Big Bubble retro stye to the Air Max 95 this year, updating the shoe’s cushioning to better reflect its original format. Recently, the shoe’s 2020 “Pink Foam” colorway has surfaced with the new update, coming soon.
Back in 2020, Nike celebrated twenty-five years of their iconic Air Max 95 running shoe. The silhouette has been a fan favorite since its debut, thanks to its wavy, layered upper that is ripe for unique and detailed color schemes. One of their most popular releases that year was the “Pink Foam” colorway, a subtle greyscale look with soft pink accents that released exclusively in women’s sizing.
In 2025, with the release of their ‘Big Bubble” AM95 on the way, the Pink Foam style has resurfaced in the updated tooling. This year’s pair is nearly identical to its predecessor, save for the enlarge Air bags under the heels. The look starts with a black midsole, which gradually lightens with each layer of the upper from dark grey, to light grey, to white. The soft pink hits appear on the Air bags as well as heel Swooshes and lacing system.

Nike’s upcoming release of their “Pink Foam” Air Max 95, now with the updated ‘Big Bubble” in the midsole, is currently expected to release in April 2025. Originally a 2020 creation, the neutral greyscale look with pink accents will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag of $180.
