Nike’s Air Max 95 continues to surfaced in exciting new colorways for the year, taking on new materials for its latest iteration. Dressed in Green Velvet, this pair is expected to launch sometime in 2022.
Nike’s Air Max sneakers have been immensely popular since their introduction in the ’80s, originating as running shoes before being adopted as lifestyle models as the technology aged. While the Swoosh continues to introduce new models to the franchise on a near yearly basis, the classic are still some of the most beloved styles, especially the pairs designed and released in the 1990s. This week, the Air Max 95 dons another new color scheme, mixing up the usual materials for an exciting ‘Green Velvet’ look. The shoe’s base layer features the soft velvet material, stacking suede and nylon on top to create the silhouette’s signature wavy look. Sail white laces, Nike branding, and midsoles complete the new style.
