Each year, the city of Atlanta celebrates their creative culture through a local festival dubbed 404 Day. This year, Nike is joining the fun with a special release of the Air Max 95 “ATL”, dropping in April a day ahead of the celebration.
Atlanta’s annual 404 day is coming up soon, celebrating the city’s history of creative culture with a festival of art and music in Piedmont Park. The name comes from the area code 404, and is celebrated annually on April 4th. This year, Nike is contributing a special release for the occasion, releasing a limited-edition “ATL” Air Max 95 exclusively through Atlanta-based retail accounts like Wish, A Ma Maniere, Soleplay, and Walter’s. The pair features anthracite black for most of its design, from the midsole to mesh underlay and toe caps. The shoe’s iconic layered pieces are added in a gradient of orange and red shades of suede, with ATL branded insoles to complete the look.
