Nike’s Air Max 90 has been a popular silhouette for the 30th Anniversary this year and now the sneaker has surfaced in a “Violet Blend” colorway that’s reminiscent to the Air Yeezy 2 “Cheetah” iteration.

After the loss of Kobe, the colorway is even more special. While the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Cheetah” never saw a release, the colorway was inspired by the Christmas Kobe 8. Kanye bathed his iconic Nike silhouette in Purple, Red, and Glow Green which was clearly an adaptation to the Kobe 8 and caused many people to name the Yeezy 2, “Kobe” other than “Cheetah”. Now for the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 90, the colorway is back like never before and is ready to be bought up by many nostalgic sneakerheads.

While the colorway isn’t one of the best, the direct correlation to the unreleased Yeezy 2 and the story and exclusivity of the pair, these will likely be a huge hit. Featuring a variety of different animal prints like Pony hair, Ostrich, and Croc print, the upper arrives in black and multiple shades of purple. Volt and Red accents are added in precisely while a white midsole and glow green rubber outsole caps off the great new design.
