eNike’s Air Max 90 anniversary celebration officially came to a close yesterday, as we moved on to 2021. However, the Swoosh is not ready to let off the gas on special-edition releases, as evidenced by the return of the ‘Spruce Lime” AM90 later this month.

The Nike Air Max 90 turned 30 years old in 2020, a major milestone for one of the longest-running and most beloved footwear franchises from the Swoosh. In celebration of the fan-favorite model, Nike spent the year releasing drop after drop of the Air Max 90, fluidly switching between both new and original color schemes, giving longtime fans a shot at some previously unobtainable pairs. Now, as we move into 2021, Nike still has a few special releases for the Air Max 90 up its sleeve, like this retro release of the “Spruce Lime” makeup that hasn’t seen retail shelves since a UK-exclusive release back in 2008. Now, the white, teal, and lime color scheme returns globally later this month.
