eNike’s Air Max 90 anniversary celebration officially came to a close yesterday, as we moved on to 2021. However, the Swoosh is not ready to let off the gas on special-edition releases, as evidenced by the return of the ‘Spruce Lime” AM90 later this month.

The Nike Air Max 90 turned 30 years old in 2020, a major milestone for one of the longest-running and most beloved footwear franchises from the Swoosh. In celebration of the fan-favorite model, Nike spent the year releasing drop after drop of the Air Max 90, fluidly switching between both new and original color schemes, giving longtime fans a shot at some previously unobtainable pairs. Now, as we move into 2021, Nike still has a few special releases for the Air Max 90 up its sleeve, like this retro release of the “Spruce Lime” makeup that hasn’t seen retail shelves since a UK-exclusive release back in 2008. Now, the white, teal, and lime color scheme returns globally later this month.

Nike’s latest retro release of an original Air Max 90 color scheme, the “Sprice Lime” makeup, has been scheduled to release later this month, on January 25th, 2021. The white-based color scheme will come with the usual price tag of $140, releasing from both Nike and select retailers.
