Nike’s Air Max 90 has quietly remained a staple of their arsenal since its thirtieth anniversary celebration in 2020. To this day the Swoosh is still crafting new colors for the model, like this “Safety Orange” edition coming in October.
The Air Max 90 had a big year in 2020, returning en masse to the Nike arsenal with original and classic colorways releasing all year to celebrate the shoe’s three-decade anniversary. Since then the silhouette has remained in their rotation, bringing us fresh styles as well as some classics like the upcoming “Reverse Duck Camo” rerelease for the Cult Classic series. The AM90 has also been a staple for seasonal releases, particularly Halloween.
This week, we have an early look at the official photos for a new “Safety Orange” style of the Air Max 90, arriving just in time for the Halloween season. This pair uses the shoe’s classic color blocking, building the upper in shades of white and grey with a black leather mudguard. The bright orange hue is added to the many TPU plastic elements, and the shoe’s branding to complete the look.
