The Nike Air Max 90 celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, returning with new colorways and variations all year long. Now, Nike is set to introduce even more Premium versions of the AM90, starting with the new canvas version seen here.
Nike’s Air Max 90 returned in force last year for the silhouette’s thirtieth anniversary, rebuilt and remastered from the ground up to mimic the original as closely as possible. After releasing all of the original colorways as well as exciting new variations and collaborations, Nike still has something new up their sleeve for the AM90 in 2021, debuting a new set of materials and construction that will fall under the brand’s Premium category (or PRM for short). The new build executes the classic Air Max sneaker with a new canvas base layer for the upper, changing up the texture and overall aesthetic of the vintage runner. The canvas portions extend to the tongues, where their bound edges add more detail. The overlays are constituted of the usual lightweight suede, completing the look. This new Air Max 90 is available in two colorways, one mixing various shades of grey, and the second pitting the AM90 in navy blue.
