Nike’s anniversary celebration for the Air Max 90 has brought about dozens of new and classic colorways this year, but 2020 isn’t over yet. This week, the AM90 emerged in a new city-inspired colorway, traveling to Moscow, Russia for the initial release.

Nike’s Air Max 90 anniversary celebration is coming to a close as 2020 finishes, but the Swoosh is far from done with special releases of the classic runner. This week, the Air Max 90 surfaced in a new city-inspired colorway, perhaps tipping off the latest in a globe-trotting collection of sneakers. Either way, this version transports us to Moscow, Russia for a premium edition of the 30-year-old runner. The “Moscow” AM90 starts off with a “Smoke Grey” upper, from the mesh bae layers to suede and leather overlays, while the TPU lacing eyelets and lateral Air Max branding come in metallic silver. The right shoe features accents on the Swoosh, inner lining, and heel tab in ‘Laser Blue’, while the left is contrasting in ‘Infrared’, while the Cyrillic words for ‘Speed’ and ‘City’ complete this special-edition pair.
