Debuting back in 1990, the Nike Air Max 90 has stayed relevant its entire 29 years and before it turns 30, it is set to take on a Lahar Escape theme.
2020 marks the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 90 but before the celebration begins the silhouette is set to release in a pack that’s dedicated to a vintage 1989 Lahar Hiking boot. The pack includes two different colorways, “Light Cream/Aligator” and “White/Natural Indigo” in which both look effortlessly flawless. While the earthy and tactical feel is infused into the silhouette, it also looks fresh and trendy, a perfect combination of both.
Arriving in usual Air Max 90 style, cracked leather equips the mid-paneling while smooth shiny leather dresses the toe box, side panels, and heel. Mesh is then used on the tongue for a texturizing element that adds much-needed depth to the sneaker. Each takes on their colorways well, which features multiple overlays and contrasting elements that make the perfect-natural aesthetic. Lahar branding is stenciled on the tongue while the usual Air Max branding graces the heel.
