While celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the loved Air Max 90, Nike has a huge surprise closing out the celebratory year that calls for the OG “Infrared” colorway.

Thirty years is a long time to stay relevant but the Nike Air Max 90 has made the task look very easy. 2020 has been all about the silhouette so far with classic takes returning and new editions debuting, the sneaker has had quite the agenda. While releases are expected to continue throughout the rest of 2020, a huge release is expected to go down this Holiday season, to close off the year.

Originally released in 1990, Tinker Hatfield equipped the Air Max 90 with the beloved “Infrared” colorway. Known then as the AM90 that consisted of a Grey, Infrared and Black upper, the ‘90s sneakerheads did not know the design would be known as one of the most iconic ever to release.

Now at a perfect time, the edition returns in 2020 for a look that many will be out in full force to get a pair or two. While there hasn’t been any leaked images of the pair just yet, expect to see the sneakers release with a design that’s as close to the OG as possible for the retro 1990’s vibe.
