Expanding their upcoming extensive “Flora” Pack, Nike has given the classic Air Max 90 a cork makeover.
The Nike Air Max 90 turned thirty last year but the silhouette has aged like fine wine. Always ready for new colorways and makeovers, whenever Nike plans a pack, you can put money on the AM90 being one of the highlights. This rendition nods to the cork baring Oak plant, which features a Coconut Milk, Wheat, and Obsidian colorway.
Calling for a creamy upper, contrast stitching is added throughout while cork covers the Nike Swoosh and heels. Navy blue is then used on the sockliner and Nike Swoosh tongue branding. To further the reason behind the design, even more, an Oak plant is displayed on the tongues while a white midsole, navy Air unit, and a cork themed rubber outsole crosses the t’s and dots the i’s.
