Nike’s Air Max 90 anniversary celebration is in full swing, with the release of several initial colorways this week. Additionally, Nike France has given us a first look at an exciting black & volt colorway, launching globally soon.
Nike’s anniversary celebrations are always a cause for excitement in the sneaker world. The brand’s archives are filled with so many legendary and fan-favorite sneakers that every year is a wild card for what incredible silhouette will make its return. This year, that honor goes to the Air Max 90, which celebrates its 30-year anniversary, a massive milestone in the world of footwear. While Nike already kicked off the party last week with an all-white iteration in its original shape and materials, and even more this week, it appears Nike France got a little ahead of themselves, unveiling a stealthy new colorway ahead of scheduled. The latest look for the Air Max 90 paints the entirety of the famous sneaker in black, save for the Swooshes, which come in 3M grey. Nike Air branding on the tongue comes in volt green, matching the lateral Air Max logos and Air midsole unit.

Nike’s latest colorway of their Anniversary Air Max 90 silhouette launched overseas via Nike France yesterday, so hopefully we can expect a stateside release in the coming weeks. The stealthy black and volt colorways retail for the usual $150 price tag, and will hopefully launch from third party retailers as well.
