Nike’s Air Max 270 debuted back in 2018, as a continuation of the ever-expanding Air lineup. Since then, the silhouette has been re-engineered in a number of different iterations, including the new Vistascape variation that surfaced online this week.

Nike’s Air Max franchise has been going strong as ever in 2020, thanks to a mix of classic silhouettes and fresh new upgrades on a regular basis. One of the more recent new additions is the Air Max 270, featuring one of the tallest Nike Airbags to date under the heel of each pair. Titled the Air Max 270 Vistascape, the updated silhouette features plenty of new details that look like they come straight from the ACG team. The Vistascape begins with a soft ripstop cotton base layer, reinforced by leather overlays on the toe box, quarter panels, and lacing system. The rear of the shoe appears to feature a fused heel cup that declines slowly towards the center of the shoe, while a TPU heel counter adds a bit of flair when paired with the seemingly-adjustable webbing straps. The typical lacing system is replaced by elastic cords with an adjustable locking system, held in place by nylon webbing loops. The upper rests on top of a slightly modified Air Mac 270 React tooling, featuring updated rugged lugs for better grip in offroad conditions.
