It seems as if Nike is purposely flooding their own market. With recent models appearing in animal-style designs, the latest Nike Air Max 270 React “Safari” follows the trend.
Much like its counterparts, the model features a “Safari” print reminiscent of past Nike shoes. Tinker Hatfield first introduced the print in 1987 with luxury in mind. He sough out to make athletic wear into something that transcended its purpose; to stand out in comfort. Since its conception, the print has been popularized further by collaborations with atmos. Fast forward to today, Nike combines their newest Air Max 270 React model with an iconic design–allowing the past and present to merge into one.
Although the sneaker dons a subtle color scheme, the all-white pair stands out for all the right reasons. Featuring a “Safari” print throughout its upper, the print sits quietly behind the translucent panels. In addition, the silhouette is accentuated by red tongue tags and a red Swoosh visible through its lateral side. Sitting atop a white sole and a visible Air Unit, the Air Max 270 React boasts an iconic design with updated technology.
